Public BBQ

A two-tiered park in Northcote, the levels separated by sweeping garden beds and a stone stairway, which gives it more character than most local reserves. Recent works have brought a new toilet block, good barbecue facilities and better pathways. Tables and seats sit under cover beside an electric barbecue, and there is drinking water. The playground suits toddlers and younger children and is fully fenced, so parents can sit back; the equipment is a little dated but holds up. It is open and sunny, and popular with dog walkers. The grounds themselves are the weak point, running to weeds and mud in patches.

Generally No! The BBQs are first come, first serve. However, if you plan on having a larger event then please check with Darebin council.

Generally, it is permissible to utilize your own gas BBQ, provided it remains under continuous supervision. However, the usage of Charcoal BBQ's is typically restricted, with the exception of parks equipped with designated charcoal disposal bins.
